there is the problem. As a tool for top level coders, sure great. But we are now training "prompt engineers" rather than teaching how to do it properly first. I am an expert in my field (not programming). I can review what ai spits out (and have clients that send me stuff all the time) and can tell its just garbage. But the fear is that those of us that have learnes our trade for 30 years and know when and when not to use tools are going to be replaced with those that only now how to "prompt". I think ai tools are not at the start but after you have the skill. You wouldnt skip teaching a kid to read just because there is text to talk?
